My 3 daughters and myself are finally going to hit the waters fishing for bass and walleye all weekend. This will be the firdt time out since bass opener and the girls want to go out and catch both bass and walleyes.

the problem is is that I have not been out there to see where fish are hitting. The girls also want to fish at night for bass as well. This will be there first time bass fishing at night

Would anyone be so kind as to give me some ideas on where to take my daughters this weekend. I would really love to find some nice bass fishing at night as I have never bass fished at night either and I hear this is one of the best times to fish for them.

If I could get some ides I would greatly apprciate it alot and so would my daughters!! If you would prefer to r-mail me info that would be ok with me as welel.

Please send info to [email protected]

I want to thank you in advance for any help you could give us to try and bring in some fish at night,

THanks

Mike

I dont do a whole lot of bass fishing but you cant go wrong with a whacky worm set up. Purple worm is my fav color and seems to be the ticket for me. As for eyes? I only fish eyes on the river and occasionally on mille lacs.

what lake are you gonna fish? id search for a thread in the forums for the lake you are wanting to fish and see if anyone has any reports

THis is what I am asking in my post. I am looking for advice on some lakes that I can take my daughters to and ty to put bass and walleyes into the boat. They love to fish but due to sports and my work we have not been out since the end of May.

We have the weekend free to fish and now I need to get some ideas on where to go.

Thanks

Mike

I have never had a ton of luck "Night" bass fishing.. But I guess that all depends on your idea of night.. when I say night, I am talking long after sun down. I am not experienced at it. SO its not surprising that I have not had success.. as for a lake? It depends on how far you want to drive, ect.. waconia? Tonka? Prior? The St.Croix river?

Go to Tonka - Lots of bass and walleyes. Slip bobber and minnow/leech for eyes or troll. You can troll spinnerbaits to and get bass and pike. But for night fishing, find a good "spot" and toss out the lighted slip bobbers. Bring bug spray.
