what kind fields to look for when field hunting for geese?

geese.... but type is mostly wheat and corn in my area, other wise ponds off the main roost.

What HunterLee said. Look for the geese. If they're using a field one night, chances are good they'll be back in the morning...

Yeah, definitely the ones with geese in em- you would be wasting your time imo if you just picked any ol field just because its has what they would typically like

Pea fields can also be good, but difficult to hide in. Looking like I will be in a Sweet Corn field opening morning.
