boat carpet

Hi, I have a Crestliner Fish Hawk. It's about 7 yrs old. The carpet is just starting to get a little thin on the edges. I am not far from having it replaced. The closest Crestliner dealer according to the web is in Grand Rapids now. Where in town can I get this done? I am not going to do it myself. What should I expect to pay? I have seen some kind of vinyl-like flooring. Any thoughts on this material? Thanks for the help. I'm in no rush. Maybe a fall or winter project.

Once you go with vinyl floor you will never go back. I did my own on two boats and a pontoon rehab, and used the Dot Deco brand. It is great! You can always put in snaps and carpet that you can remove, that would be the ideal thing to do, but more spendy. Good luck.

i think tykes use to do it to

i would try boxMN's idea tho

i have a fiberglass boat with snap out carpet i took it out

and never put it back in

i just scubbed the floor sun it looks like new again

plus i think that stuff might keep your floor in better shape as the water should run off

it takes awhile for that floor to dry after its wet with carpet on top of it

Larry's Marine in Merrifield.

If your headin north take a right at the Half Moon Saloon. It's either the second or third driveway (says "Larry's" on the mailbox on the right.

He does good work, quick and good rates.
