JBMasterAngler
Bearhead lake state park might have what your looking for. They electricity and running water, and camper cabins. Or you could also try mckinley park campground on lake vermilion...it's a resort campground, so it should have everything you need as well. reinhard1
bear head also has a group campground. if you need 5 or six sites this way you could all be together. but whatever you choose for that amount of people make your reservations now. i go to bear head every year and i dont know of a better all around place to camp. private showers and all the rest plus great fishing. if you decide on bear head let me know and i will give you my email address and tell you the better spots. good luck. Dozer
We stay at Silver Rapids lodge/campground every summer. Nice sites right on the lake.
reinhard1
we usualy go there in mid june and have gone in july also. there is a good population of walley there. bear head is a clear lake however we even have had good rusults during the day as long as there is a little chop. we fish mainly the west side. there are some nice largmouth in there also along with northerns. sunnies and crappies for the young and young at heart. there is a nice fish cleaning house in the park. there are also two trout lakes that can be fished from shore that are stocked with brook trout within the park. one right behind the ranger station and one 2 miles down the road. right now the walleys should be right outside the weedlines early and late in the day. i would say the best time would be between 6 pm until dark in these areas. leaches have been the best for us but slow trolled crawlers are a good option also. good luck.
