Denard Span, 18 stolen bases picked off 7 times. He's probably cost us more runs on the base paths than Delmon has in the field. I'd like to know what Gardy was saying to him while they were reviewing Casilla's home run.

And the 7 pickoffs dont include the other gaffes he makes out there. I remember a late inning gaffe that cost us the tying run. I think they should have Thome pinch run for him just once. That outta send the message lout and clear.

This latest one I don't really blame him as much as the others he was going to steal on the pitchers first move and got caught. Most of the other ones he just had to big of a lead. I would hope the rather large fine he'll be getting will address this along with some choice closed door off the record words from Gardy.

Other then that I'm pretty happy with Spans play.
