Headlights

Just went from a Chevy pickup to a GMC and noticed the headlights are not as bright. The chevys lights wrap around the side a little and they really light up the side of the road good. Anyone know if these are interchangeable? The trucks are the new body style.

Depends on the actual year of the vehicles. You'd have to check in the auto section of the forums. There's some auto techs in there that really know their stuff.

for the cost of what it would be to replace the headlights, it might be worth getting some hella 500ff auxiallary lights hooked up to your high beams for about $75 and you will be able to see a good 2 times as far as regular headlights with them.

another thing you could do is look into sylvaina ULTRA STAR head light bulbs, they will give you a whiter light and things close up will be more clear and vivid but they SUCK in the snow/ fog/ heavy rain

they also burn out A LOT quicker than the standard bulbs that are half the cost.

I have them in 3 of my vehicles now, for a couple years now, I havent blown one yet!

The truck is 2010 GMC. Looked at the Chevy today and they are not interchangeable. Are there any bulbs that throw a wider beam? Not looking for distance, just something that lights up the side of the road.
