Wader *boot* repair

Scott M

Question

I've got two pairs of waders that, in the last month, in each, I sprung a leak in the boot. I have a tube of the Hodgman's Neoprene Patch Fixer, but I doubt that would handle the boot. Any other suggestions, or are the waders ruined? A little bathroom caulk?

I used the KISS formula (keep it simple, stupid). I just cleaned up the spot, globbed on some Amazing Goop - Marine formula on the hole, on the exterior, and let it set overnight. I came back to a nice glazed over spot. If you wanted double the protection you could always use this stuff from the inside as well.

that stuff is pretty durable. if you apply it inside and out, it works even better. you can always put some duct tape over the outside for a little added protection smile
