Critical Concepts

Just bought these books from the in-fisherman staff. Just wondering if anyone else has read them and if they are any good.

I read all 5 volumes every winter.

Great series of books, tons of info and good reading over and over like Gunflint said. I usually break mine out in the late winter to brushup a bit before the ice goes out. Gets me ready for the open water and if I really get the itch to head down to the Miss to fish for open water eyes in march and April.

I don't much care for the show as I don't fish for Tarpon, Carp, or Bass and I would like to see more presentations other than swim baits. What I like about the book series is that it's dedicated to Walleyes.

I have also noticed that the only way they fish walleyes on the show is with swim baits.

to in fisherman's credit they can only do so many shows about Lindy rigs and jigs. they have been doing shows for like 20 years. my big complaint is they never replay the old in fisherman shows.

but ya Mr. Stange sure does like swim baits....

I believe that the Critical Concepts series was written when the Lindners were involved.

There are a lot more presentations than rigging & jigging.
