Rude angler story with a funny ending

So my 7yr daughter was begging me to go fishing last night and who am I to tell my princess no? So we run down to Christmas Lake that's right down the street and start hitting some panfish. This boat full of 4 drunks drive up to us and push us off our spot. I was starting to get annoyed but my daughter started talking to them and she was happy so who am I to get [PoorWordUsage].

Well, it's finally too much for me and I end up going to a new spot. About 2 minutes after we get there these guys run over the area where we're fishing on full plane! I was about to go postal but my daughter was in the boat. We keep fishing (more like me hooking fish and handing my rod to her) and she strikes up a conversation with these guys. She asks what the "girls" name was. The "girl" was a scrawny guy with long hair. She proceeds to have a 5 minute conversation with this "girl" asking if she like Barbies, wants to go to her b-day party etc. At this point I couldn't even fish facing them because I couldn't hold it in anymore. What's better is the "girls" buddies were just savaging him! It was like my daughter cut him and dropped him in a shark tank! Luckily it was time to get home at that time and we said our good byes and she told them to come out fishing tomorrow because they were her "guardians".

For those that have a hot temper (like me) I suggest we all try my daughters tactic in confronting them in the future. It sure is a lot more fun LOL!

That is one cutesy story.

It does make me think twice about anger control.

Being non-confrontational, I usually move away and leave the ignorant alone. No sense fighting with them as I know it's really tough to have a battle of wits with an unarmed man.

Good story, it sounds like she kept one or more people out of the hospital or jail.
