Fishing LIne ?

Has anyone used Cajun Red fishing line? And more importantly would you use it again?

I use it for backing, because it's cheap and the red color makes it easy to spot when you're getting close.

I don't use it for my main line --- I don't think I've ever seen a line that stretches more, and is more inconsistent in feel, diameter, strength, etc. There's a lot of options that are a lot better IMO.

Used it for ice fishing one year, just to make it easy to see on the snow/ice. Not impressed with it and haven't used it since.

I have a friend uses it and says he really likes it, so I tried it ice fishing a couple years ago. Cheapest [PoorWordUsage] I've ever put on a reel.

I know some guys like it, but I'll never use it again. Perch Jerker did have a good use for it though. I suppose it would be fine for backing.

I wont use red lines because I dont buy into that they disapear under the water stuff.

I have used Cajun Red for leaders on my Lindy rigs for quite a few years now. I thought it worked fine for that purpose. Never tried to spool it though! As stated worked fine in Vermilion's stained water.
