gregg52
settle down there harv....loli believe the reason we're not seeing guys dying off as in yrs past is cuz NASCAR made some great improvments from the walls to cars hans device etc etc and i agree i'm racer from way back in the day cars and snowmobiles for that matter not sure limit exact thoughts there but it is finally nice to see the 48 suffer alittle as most guys in racing do some more than others thats for sure he'll probably win next week
harvey lee
I have no issues with the 48 going out of the race.Just don't understand the cheering for an accident. Never will.
lawdog
I have no issues with the 48 going out of the race.Just don't understand the cheering for an accident. Never will. Harv,You have to remember you have a unique perspective that few share having actually strapped a loved one into a race car and seeing the bills and knowing the work involved to put a wrecked one back together. Most fans can't grasp that...
harvey lee
I do agree Jeff. I guess I am on the other side.
gregg52
wrecks are job sercuity for people !!!!!!!!!!and i mean that
Juneau4
I would have rather have seen an engine blow, a tire go flat, anything other than a wreck like that.. The results would have been about the same.
SledNeck
Hard hits in football can hurt and kill people, YET, people including myself like seeing hits. Crashes come with the territory in NASCAR. It would be different if people were standing next to the freeway cheering on crashes.

harvey lee
I agree its part of the game but why cheer for an accident that may hurt or kill someone.Bass or any others who cheer for accidents lets strap you in the car and then cheer you will get in a crash.Kinda sick Ha.I guess thats just the way some people think.Boy that would be cool if a driver crashed into a wall and destroyed the car. Who cares if the driver is hurt for life?????Sledneck, its bad to cheer for an accident on the highway as someone could get hurt but since a racecar driver makes his living from racing then its OK to cheer for an accident.Sorry, I do not get it. gregg52
cheering for pain isnt cooolbut every one knows the risk in any sport football baseball hockey(lots of toothless guys..lol)racing and football the risk is just alittle higher probably more so in football than racing really lots more exposed to injury !most drivers arnt in as bad shape as football players at the end of their careers
SledNeck
People cheer crashes with the idea that the drivers 99 times out of 100 will get out and walk away anyways. No one is hoping for a driver to get killed.
lawdog
I do agree Jeff. I guess I am on the other side. You and me both bud. Hate wrecks... everytime I see one I see advils, long hours and dollar signs and I fear worse than that.
harvey lee
I simply give up. I guess its cool to cheer for something bad to happen to another.I heard this saying once.Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.Quite the saying.

gregg52
i think the 48 will be the guy to beat in the chase BUT the races GODS might have just changed his luck alittle to make it a little tuffer
