Stihl chainsaws for ZBob!

Recommended Posts

Hey all:

I was out clearing a few acres of dead and down fir, pine and ash this morning at the lake cabin when my pregnant daughter wanted to get in on a little action. So I knocked down the size on the Labonville chaps, ratcheted in the Stihlhat and put her to work with the Stihl 026.

It was my way of making sure my first grandchild, Zachary Robert, who is due in two weeks, will never pick up a Husky, Dolmar or Jonsered. Like making sure your kid likes books by reading to him in the whomb, we woke up ZBob with the love purr of the Stihl a foot from his ear. smilesmile

Thanks, all.

I was going to put the MS460 (ported and muffler modded) with a 32-inch bar in her hands, but I wasn't sure she'd be able to hold it up, let alone cut with it. But she's a tough bugger. We should have gone for it. What a photo THAT would have been. laughlaugh

ZBob's dad is a fine man and will be a fine father, but he is not involved in the so-called "manly" pursuits. So I'll be the one to teach Zach how to catch fish, hunt deer, tune a chainsaw and cut and split wood. Surprisingly, I'm looking forward to it. Who knew? crazy

Swimmer, I think your Mom took you to opera in utero as a deterrent. No one but those New York City pharts can pretend to like opera and make it stick. gringrin

Jackie, it's gonna be a wild and wolly baby book! shockedshocked
