Does anyone know if you can get this stuff in bulk quantities? I see that you can get PowerBait ribbon-tail worms in a large bag, just wondering if they do this with Gulp. Heck, I would even buy a case if I knew who would sell it to me. Any thoughts?

I should clarify; I am looking for the gulp that normally comes in a 10 count package, not Gulp Alive.

i believe that the Gulp Alive is the bulk quantity of the same product in the smaller bags. Only called Alive because the solution supposedly recharges the bait.

If that is the case then I am stuck buying them by the 10 count. Gulp seems softer and looks better in the water than Gulp Alive, besides I am not a huge fan of those leaky tubs that Alive comes in. Is there a tackle store out there who will order this stuff by the case?

Huh? I have never had a problem with the tubs. Being harder or what not. Just make sure you are getting a fresh tub and not something leftover from last season. I once bought a ten pack at a gas station and they were harder then usual. I suspect it was a leftover pack. I dont believe they carry well from one season to the next. The alive tubs will give some juice back into the bait.

I would have to say the stuff in the package and the stuff in the tub are not the same product.

The Alive I believe is a porous product allowing the juices to soak into it and recharging the product.

The regular gulp in the 10 count has different chemical makeup.

I dont want to send you to a different site, but Gary parsons from the Next bite web site were the ones that field tested the products and is sponsored by it. They do know the truth behind the mystery. I would ask them.

And they could definitely put you onto a dealer that would sell in bulk to you.

I have used the bags gulp and the gulp alive and I hate the tubs leaking in the gulp alive but that stuff is so much more effective for me......I use the 2.5" minnows and now the 1" minnows and they are great!! good tail action and I don't know how you could get any softer and still be effective....

One solution to the leaky tubs is to cut a small X in the top of the foil cover and reach through it to get the bait. The seal around the foil keeps it from leaking or leaking as much as it normally would. I haven't tried it myself, but have seen others that have done it. Wish I would have though...man that stuff stinks!

Plano makes a leak proof tub with plastic tweesers to get the Gulp out I found it at FF last weekend.
