Boat trailer tires near Duluth

My boat trailer has very worn tires. Can I replace the tire like a car or do I have to buy rims and all? Does RJ's in Hermantown do this?

you should be able to buy them just like a tire on a vehicle but you can also buy the tire/rim combo at a hardware store.....the thing I found when doing a little research for my boat is that I found the tire/rim combo as cheap if not cheaper than getting only a tire from the tire store......the only thing is I would imagine the tire from the tire shop would have been of better quality as the tires I bought 2 years ago could be replaced now!!

that is the difference maker right there.....the tire/rim combos that I bought were in the 35-40 dollar range and the tires alone I was finding at 40-60.........

I was looking into this too. Called Tires Plus up by the mall and the tires for my trailer were $51.00. To mount it was $10/tire, so $61.00 total.

Just got a new set for the boat trailer at Duluth Tire. Very fast and got a much better tire then the ones that were on the trailer.

Check Menards as well. Down here they have some very competitive trailer tire and tire/rim combos

For $35-40 you probably weren't getting a radial trailer tire
