vikingmeatwad
I find the search function to not work well at all so I will post this. What do you guys use to wash and wax your boat.I'd be fine to use car wash to strip it down then do you use a boat wax? Thanks and all input is appreciated! dobiel
Use a boat wax. Some car waxes have carnuba wax in them and that can "yellow" a white hull. I personally use a product called Leverage by Marine Clean. I've also had good results with a product called Nautical Ease. A lot of guys seem to like Race Glaze but I have yet to personally try it. The products I listed are all products that I was introduced to by the offshore sportboat community.

Carpenter
Where do you go for these items? Fleet, Napa, Wallyworld? I'm looking to do the same with my glass boat this weekend.
dobiel
I go online or over the phone and order it right from the company to my front door.
Kodiak
get some mothers marine wash/wax cleaning solution, mothers marine cleaner wax and a powerball for paint......makes cleaning a fiberglass boat and waxing it a dream and fast too. The cleaner wax will take off any oxidation and protect it at the same time.
