YoMan
I have 5 days off work coming up this weekend and the weather prediction looks great! Its time to get the smoker going and I was wondering if anyone knew where to get a good brisket in the north metro?? I usually go to Cubs but its always hit or miss.. I was thinking maybe Costco? muskie-mike
I recently purchased 2 at Costco for $3.29 a lb. They are choice and just the flat 2 inch thick part. Very good on my UDS....
jeffreyd
that is where i get them, you can usually buy the whole thing or the flat cut. i perfer to cook the whole brisket fat side up. one thing i do it put it in a glass pan and dump a bottle of newmans own salad dressing on it and leave in fridge for a day. there is also a brisket marinade from stabbs or stubbs that is pretty good and do the same thing. Ralph Wiggum
Try Hackenmueller's Meats in Robbinsdale. Great meat, great guys!
Tripleplay
Last summer Costco was out so I had to scramble a bit. Ended up at Anoka Meats and was real happy with the brisket I got.
nate larson
Hackenmueller's is awesome! I was there a couple of weeks ago for the first time. The owner found out we had never been there before and gave us a tour. I would give them a call and see what they have to say.
Ralph Wiggum
Hackenmueller's is awesome! I buy nearly all my meat there. If you don't see what you want, just ask! Best part is it's walking distance for me
