leech~~
These are some of my best lures that I have ever used. I bought them a few years ago and can't seem to find them anywhere. Does anyone know who makes them or where to find them? RonnieBird
Esox_Magnum
I have some similar, I think they were from Kodiac jigs, but the owner died not sure if anyone took over the company. RonnieBird
groundraker
They're called a Ronnie Bird. Haven't seen them on the shelf for several years. RonnieBird
Gadgetman
Not positive but I think that JR may have something very similar RonnieBird
eyehead
My old man used to swear by those jigs ya got there. Not sure if there still made though. JR does make a jig pretty similar to that one. I think its called the JR Flasher. It has caught me plenty of walleyes thru the ice. RonnieBird
leech~~
They're called a Ronnie Bird. Haven't seen them on the shelf for several years. Ronnie Bird does sound kind of familiar? I will try and google it and I only live a few miles from JR's so I'll check there as well. Thanks for the ideas. I used to have three of them but lost one to a nice big eye one day. The Blue one is what I caught my 35.5"inch Laker on earlier this winter. I need to find more of them! RonnieBird
Ed Carlson
Yup..that is the "Ronnie Bird", I believe the Lindner's were behind the Ronnie Bird...Ron Lindner specifically...I could be wrong?I remember when they came out first and were only available through In-Fisherman by mail order? There was a lure makes also by the name of Ronnie Bird...he may be the guy behind it too? Not certain? The "Stop Sign" lure is the same basic body, just no wings to add the clacking sound and added flash.Good lure, done very well with them on sumo perch and walleye too."Woodland Resort" at Devils Lake ND had them last time I was in there, they may still have some on the pegs in there bait shop. Well I think that I am SOL as Ronnie Bird Lures is out of business and their Web site says "Maybe for sale". The only things I could find on them on the web were a few old post from other fishing sites looking for them which were dated back in 2002-03. The other two lure brands listed above make something that looks like a rocker lure with wings so maybe they will work as well? Now I'm not sure if I keep trying to fish with them and chance losing them, or hold on to them and try and sell them in a few years on one of the auction sites for $25 bucks each!!
