Interested in this as I only have half a roll that was scrapped out from a place I used to work. This is the best thing ever for attaching reels to your rod. no adhesive as it sticks to itself only.

Calling it "Tommy Tape" is what's causing the problem.

I work at one of the big box stores and most people call it stretch & seal or silicone tape.

About a year ago I had a hard time finding it for a customer. No one in plumbing or electrical where it is stocked had ever heard it called "Tommy Tape".

I started asking plumbers who shopped here if they knew what "Tommy Tape" was. Only 4 of the 30 or so I asked knew it as "Tommy Tape". I'm not sure if FM is the only place it's called that or if the southern suburbs is the only place it's not called tommy tape.
