I don't know what it is but in the past 2 weeks I have had a Pine Grosbeak land on my head twice and a Boreal chickadee and a Black-Capped land on my head and the Grosbeak also landed on my lens but never have I been able to capture but today it happened to Jason twice and I was able to catch it the first time but had to back up in order to focus and to try not to spook the bird.

It's only illegal to dispose of the ribcages on public land. Sounds perfectly legal to me if a feller wanted to wear one.
