I've seen snowys, boreals, great grays, and many northern hawk owls, and I've still yet to see one of these! I would trade you in a heartbeat. Thanks for the great shot, reminds me to keep looking

I was thinking what Stu said. I have to wonder what this guy was up to. I would bet the nest is not to far away. Just wait for the crows and they will tell you where the owls are at, everyday.

He was about 75 miles north of here, near Swift Falls. That's where a couple members of the MOU reported seeing 1 or 2 Snowy Owls. Actually, there is one hanging out behind the college. I see him just about everytime I'm out there. Of course, he always sees me first. He always comes flying out of the pines. Now that the sun is supposed to shine for a few days, he might be easier to spot.

I was out there in the Nature Center yesterday on snowshoes and didn't see too much. I didn't know we had one around here!
