mainbutter
Does anyone use insects for live bait?I've started up a colony of tropical cockroaches that I feed to my pet reptiles. They eventually outgrow what I'm able to feed off, but still make for good breeders. However I was wondering if they might not make fantastic topwater live bait for bass. What do you guys think? JBMasterAngler
I think the sunnies would peck the [PoorWordUsage] out of them way before any bass would get the chance to take it.
Sonicrunch
Sounds like you may accidentally introduce a exotic species into the environment.

mainbutter
There is no way these guys could ever become established in MN, heck I'd give them only a slight chance in places like Texas. They die at anything under 65 degrees. There is a reason MN doesn't have cockroaches.
SkunkedAgain
That might be your opinion or fact, but I'd contact the DNR to get their opinion before you talk yourself into believing that you are right
