Is there a place to find out what lakes were stocked in 2009? The lakefinder only goes to 2008.

Also to find out which lakes were surveyed?

If you do a search on a lake and the year, you might find something. I did this for a trout lake I wanted to know the data for.

I just used the yahoo search. Example: mille lacs 2009 stocking data. From there you just do some pointing and clicking you should find the right info. I'm sure there's an easier way, so if anyone knows I'm all ears.

The DNR has the info but probably doesn't make publishing it on the web a priority. If the info you are looking for is pretty specific (ie just for one lake) you could probably call and get it.

Thanks. I'll probably call and see what I can find out. Elbow Lake, north of Detroit Lakes in Becker county, is supposed to be stocked on odd numbered years, I think. But it was skipped in 2005, stocked in 2007 and I was wondering if it was stocked in 2009.

yup, call the local DNR office. If I am in the area i stop by the fishery office at the french river here near duluth, they are usally pretty friendly and glad to help.
