I have a gift card to gander and I put a frabill commando on hold because i dont need anything else there and I would like to have a one man, because the otter is too heavy for me to load by myself, should i keep looking around for something different or should I get it, I cant pick it up till friday, never owned a frabill so I am wondering hows their quality, how do you like your commando, do you hit your head on the roof when sitting down

thanks dan

Love my Commando, great 1 man unit. Very fast hit and run unit, 1 stage flip, front door is very handy, weight is good.

Best second option is go for the Frabill Trekker DLX at Gander, use 1 seat and keep the second in reserve for that day you fish two....very wide, about the same weight as the Commando with only 1 seat assembly in...but twice the width to fish. The Frabill Trekker DLX Gander Exclusive is a very smart buy right now, and it comes with a free cover.

I was always a Clam guy. Have had the 5600, a Pro and a Scout. I needed something to fit in my cars backseat and was wanting a Clam 2000, problem is the headroom is 5 or so inches lower than the Frabill Refuge, so I bought the Frabill. I love it to death. It weighs 44 lbs, comes assembled, can fit 2 guys inside and it pulls on ice and snow nicely.
