marcum is really loud

My marcum LX-5 is really loud when it runs. I was fishing with my buddy last night and his you couldnt even hear. there is nothing loose on the outside of it or the knobs. I saw a post earlier this season on the marcum being loud but I cant find that post. So if someone could tell me any tips to make it quieter that would be cool.

Im sure its internal ,brushes maybe like the vex issues?

This might sound dumb, but sometimes the gimbal knobs will loosen up a bit and cause loud vibrating.

It's worth checking.

Otherwise, yeah it's the brushes probably.

The wheel might have come out of alignment.

Nope. That's a factory job.
