Question on Turkey Lottery.

Ok, I have had terrible luck in the lottery. 1 license if 4 years. But, I got my bird as we have lots of turkeys in the woods. I have a rule, if I get a license...I let the neighbors hunt on my land. If not...not one hunts...so they are rooting for me too!

Anyway, I applied a few weeks ago...and now I found out I can't go on the days I applied (something came up).

Is there anyway that I can change my lottery date that I am trying for??

I think U R screwed there bud. You maybe able to pickup a left over for your area, but not sure you can even do that if you do get picked the first time around. But, if you are a land owner, why are you having such a hard time getting tags? I think land owners get a high preference level?

Land owners only do if you let other people hunt, I think.

Oh well. Looks like I am out of luck and so are the neighbors.

Or maybe I will let some hunt for it was my fault. I guess we will see....

You can change them. Get it done today. Call the DNR information number, not sure what that number is, and they will help you get it done. I had a friend get theirs changed yesterday.

Thanks for the responses. I didn't see them until too late though. Looks like the birds go free for another year....
