I have had peanut butter on this branch and the camera on the gorillapod right next to the glass for days. No luck. Today the remote shutter release arrived. But of course there were crows after something in the neighborhood so... I took the camera down in readiness. THEN the chickadee arrives. So alas, hand held, not close enough to the glass, but at least the window was clean!

Very nice! This is the one bird we're lacking this winter so it's always nice when someone shares one here. Can almost hear him. Your windows are also much cleaner than mine.

I brought back a few branches from up north this fall myself. The only thing is, all my fruticose lichens fell off.
