Any ideas for a MarCum arm for vex transducer?

Was thinking I really like my FL-20 but, without the MarCum type arm for the transducer like my wives LX-5; I find myself using hers thus far this season. Help please! I want to enjoy the vex more and I'm not digging that vex eye hook thing for the cord either!

Heck Ive got the arm your talking about and id give it to you! I went and bought the VEX float instead of using it. The only purpose I use that for is to keep the transducer in place on the base. I guess it might look funny having a Vexlar float on a Marcum, but I own both and I know what I like.

I like the float a whole lot more than the arm. But I guess we all have our preferences.

Oh, I wasn't very specific about the float. I have it I just like having the transducer cord off the ice. The transducer cord either is laying on the ice/hole or it seems you gotta snug the vexilar right on top of the hole. I may be a bit careful, but I worry about wearing it down or even putting a hole in the cord over time. The LX-5 set-up allows you to put the unit back away from the hole a bit and you can just grab it without having a ducer and cord dangling (caution heater). I wish Vexilar would come up with an attachment for folks who like it that way...
