browning_gold
This video is kinda weird whats going on.. And do you guys know what that stuff on the surface of the hole is?
Fish Toys
It looks like minnows. The info over on the right side (Spearing northern pike in North Dakota with low oxygen levels in lake.) The oxygen level might be a little higher with the open hole. The lake is probably dying out from lack of oxygen?
BanginCans
It does look like minnows, but there are fresh water shrimp in a lot of the lakes out here. Especially up on Devils Lake, it's hard to tell from the quality of the vid but I'd say it's either of those.
bassNspear
looks horrible either way you look at it!
Dave S
looking at the way some of them were moving, it looked like minnows. I know the fresh water shrimp are big in ND, but not sure they're that big.
Gordie
Yes that is what happens when oxygen level drop out or the lake freezes out. I have seen where when you cut a hole in a lake that is freezeing out and it seems like everyfish in the lake comes up to that hole for O2. Its a sight to seem but not for the weak of heart.
