I've been meaning to ask this, but what time of day does everyone seem to have the most activity? it may depend on the lake in particular, but in general?

or perhaps an example of the lake terrain you're fishing (ex. 10am since it takes a bit for the northerns to move into the flats...etc.)

thanks guys in advance smile

depends on lake, weather, water clarity, etc. But most lakes I have been on have a run in the am and one in the pm. Whitefish chain of lakes (where I spend most of my time) has a good run from sunlight until 9-10am. then another good run the last hour of light.(that is for Pike) Whitefish on the other hand roam all day, but usually gets pretty good around the lunch hour. Again weather plays a big factor in this(overcast, sunny, windy, etc). Flats or breaks also will make a difference. Breaks for me are usually a little later in the am, while the flats can be right away.

I believe each lake has its own time schedule.
