PikeBayCommanche
I have a Benelli Super Nova. Will it hurt the barrel to shoot slugs out of it?Just remove the choke?
96trigger
Do Not remove the choke, you will wreck the threads, use your improved cylinder or modified, not your full choke. You will not hurt your barrel. Use the foster style, rifled slugs, not sabots. People have good luck with the federal truball, and the brenneke, but shoot a couple of different kinds. fr0sty
I have the same gun and shoot federal truball slugs. Federal recommended the modified choke for those rounds in a smooth bore. They are accurate enough for deer out to maybe 70-80 yards or so. I practice at 50.
