A hose and I would use a filter also and you should be good to go. You picked a good heater. The green hose get really stiff in the cold, I hear the black one stays flexible.

I have the black one and it works great in winter. You will love your heater. I love mine. Only thing I don't like is when you are in a drafty area the pilot can go out which is a pain in the arse. I have heard they have fixed this but I am not sure. mine is 4 years old now.
