LMITOUT
I was wandering through Menards today and noticed they had Shorelunch soup so I had to take a closer look as I had never seen this before. All you do is boil 8 cups of water, add the dry soup mix, and cook for 15-20 minutes. They had Homestyle Chili, Potato, Cheddar Potato, and a few other varieties. I grabbed the two versions of potato and just made up the Cheddar for supper and it wasn't all that bad. Instead of using 8 cups of water you can cut it to 7 and add a can of beer to make a beer cheese soup, which I did. No, it isn't a gourmet beer cheese soup....you have to remember that it comes out of a bag and you just add water but if you're in a pinch or need a hot dinner in the fish house or deer shack this might be the ticket. All you need is a pot and some water and you're set!

Cicada
Good stuff. I tried the wild rice soup and added some turkey that my brother and I smoked. I'd recommend these soups and will try some other flavors.

CRAZYEYES
I bought a few last spring when I saw it on sale at menards, Not too bad. I'd buy it again. I loved the wild rice. I added grouse to it and it made for a pretty good meal.
LMITOUT
Tonight I made up a batch of their potato soup and it was pretty good, although I thought it tasted a little bit like a clam chowder. They had a sausage-potato soup recipe on the package so I thawed out some venison sausage and added that to the mix along with some diced onion and it turned out great. Surface Tension
I tried the chicken soup. It said to simmer it for 15 minutes. After 30 minutes the carrots and green stuff? was still sort of hard. Wasn't to keen on the flavor either, didn't seem like it could be good for you either. Coarse I like cold spam once in a while so...
LMITOUT
No, it's definitely not high on the weight watchers list of foods to eat. But, it works in a pinch if you need something quick or have limited ingredients to work with.
