The only doubt I'd have about the length of that fish is that I wonder if it's not 58... looks more like 70 to me!!! Holy cow, that's a monster!

What a horse, speaking of horses, since a few years back all those 50" plusers were released into Mille Lacs, not to change the topic, but where are they and what happened ? Didn't we all kind of figure someone would knock down a new record by now ?

I know of one that was close if not the state record caught there this year. People just aren't putting in the time there that they used to.

Friend of ours got a good one near season end. Not sure how closely it would have threatened the record, but she carried her tremendous girth all the way down. Another inch or two in length would have been a for sure deal.
