portable spear house

I'm looking for a 4x6 portable spearhouse. wood ends & black canvas. I sold my 4x8 and am looking at getting a little smaller one. I will miss the 26"x48" hole. If anyone knows of a nice one let me know please. Thanks

I've had good luck with my Mankato house. It's 4x6 and I paid $350 for it a couple years ago. Dark enough canvas to spear with, big enough for a hole, and light enough to throw in the truck by yourself.

My 4X6 has a 19" X 42" hole.

A little smaller but not too bad.

my old house has the hole in the middle, nice for 2 people for 1 guy its kinda sucks, all the space is on the other side of the hole, plus 4x6 is fits in the back of my truck w/tailgate shut

I will stay around 4 1/2 FOW.

Not as good of a spot but safer anyway.

Great looking house. Looks like the same kind of braces that I have on the Clam. Is that where you got them from. Im looking to build one soon. Where did you get the black canvas or did you just paint it?? let me know if you have any kind of insight on what you used for flooring ect... I'd like to build one really light, something I can lug around on my own considering Ill be out mostly on my own.

After looking at Laskas Quick Fish 3 with his homemade floor today I really like that setup. That setup may be beter than a canvas house.

I would have to agree Its got the 4 things I really like.

the floor idea is great and it travels well

I'm not to sure about downsizing but the tracking on the garage ceiling is choice. What a great idea for mine also..
