smeese
My eyes are on Tetonka in Waterville. I think with the increased walleye population this hidden Gem will be pulled from the back of the Cupboard.
pikerliker
Hey smeese where do you fish them on this lake? I tried it for the first time last winter a few times and struck out. I also tried once in June and caught 1 small walleye and 1 big Sheepshead. Any advice appreciated. ~piker

Ed Carlson
Some of the best Early Season Walleye Gems are recent DNR stocking lakes and ponds. Look over the past 6 years of stocking records and look for that golden opportunity. I look for a 4-5 year span from large stockings in small new ponds. Odds are very good since we are in a wet cycle, there are plenty of residual eyes to hunt in low pressured areas that often are smaller so they cap with ice earlier. smeese
Its all in the time your out, and the structure below. Try any bar where the water transitions, or just find MjGrose's fish house and hump his spot. Hey smeese where do you fish them on this lake?
