Why such price differences?

Just curious if anyone knows why there is such a huge price gap from one place to the next on things like Chubby Darters and Jigging Rap's? One place will have darters for 10$ when another will have them for 6. Just curious.

Depends on the quantities the place sells and the competition around them. If they are the only place in town that sells them, they can charge a premium since people would have to travel farther away to get them.

with lots of color options. Just the 3's and 4's though but they are the perfect sizes anyway.

Fleet Farm in Brainerd has them for 5.99 through today. All sizes. The new halographic ones are a sweet looking bait.

I am really excited to see how these lindy darters do this year. i have fished the heck out of Salmo chubby darters and have only caught a couple northerns with them. i like them but they have no produced walleyes for me. I have bought a few of the lindy darters and will try them, but a bit skeptical about them, i know they are a little different then the chubby darters, so everyone who catches a walleye on on, post it on the site please

Could also be bulk buying power or marketing strategy. When a business can buy or move large quantities of product they can have some leverage with the manufacturer to obtain better wholesale prices. That's how large businesses like Walmart, Target, etc. can offer certain products at prices below their competition.

Market strategy too can dictate a lower price on some products. I might be willing to take a lower profit or even a hit on certain products in my store in order to draw customers. The more people that get acquainted my store the more likely they'll return.
