mitchell
New for this year! The Jason Mitchell Elite Series Meat Stick Series has been expanded and improved for this upcoming ice season. New rods feature a more durable tip composition with easy to see High Vis contrasting chartreuse and blaze orange stripes for better visibility in varying light conditions. The Meat Stick has become one of the most effective fishing rod designs in the industry. New for this season are a twenty inch and twenty four inch version of this popular rod.Find out more at www.jasonmitchellrods.comJMSS28MSThis 28-inch glass rod features a feather light tip that loads to an extremely heavy backbone. An extremely popular rod for Perch, Sunfish and Crappie. This rod is balanced to load perfectly with heavier search lures like dropper spoons, Halis and Mendota Rigs yet enables anglers to watch for the lightest pick ups. This versatile rod is also a great dead stick rod for both perch and walleye as the tip is light enough to telegraph minnow action and loads softly when a fish hits.JMS24MS"The ultimate panfish rod" is how anglers describe the new 24 inch Meat Stick. New high-vis tip incorporates easy to read chartruese and blaze orange contrasting marks to see the lightest movement on the lure. An excellent finesse tool for giving all panfish presentations a natural and fluid movement in the water. Easy to read tip even telegraphs when fish "feed up." Combine the ultra sensitive tip with the back bone necessary for good hooksets. Also doubles as a formidable dead sticking rod.JMS20MSThe new 20 inch Meat Stick is a shortest rod in the popular Meat Stick line up. This twenty inch rod works as a great finesse sight fishing rod where the light tip can aid in your presentation for ultra finicky panfish. Many angler also like the shorter length of the rod for sitting inside compact portable dark houses or kneeling close to their electronics or underwater camera. Features same easy to read tip incorporating chartruese and blaze orange contrasting marks to watch the lightest movements on the lure with the great hooksetting backbone that has made the Meat Stick Series of ice rods some of the most popular rods on the ice. Northlander
Cool! That extra color on the tip of the meatstick and a more durable tip will only make this rod better than it already was. I have owned 5 different meatsticks and lost the tip on 2 so Im glad to see that Jason helped that problem. These are my go to crappie and perch rods. Duffman
The Meatstick turned out to be my favorite icerod that I used last year. I'm into deadstick fishing, and this rod was perfect for that application. It's nice to hear of the improvments, that tip was delicate, but it's also what made fishing with the Meatstick fun for me. I tamed a couple of pike in the 5-6 lb range with that thin little tip, good fun. So much fun that I'm picking up a couple more for this year. First ice 'eyes and crappies beware; I'll be walking on water and carrying a not so big stick soon enough.
