Bullwinkled
Just installed a grip and throttle warmer tonight. Bought one that has variable control for both grip and throttle. No more frozen thumb on long subzero lake runs. I installed two rod holders on my Monster box for hole hopping. Now if we would only get some ice. blongtin
I have some at home (sound like the same) that still need to be put on. Hoping to do it when I mount the plow bracket on a different wheeler than last year. How long or was it hard to put them on? I'm sure looking forward to toasty hands this year. Bullwinkled
I took about 4 hours, I take my time. I removed the old grips with the air compressor. Lift up the inboard side of grip enough to get a air nozzle in and hit the trigger. The grip will start getting air under it and work free as the air works it's way out to the end. If you have end caps remove them first. I thought it was a good way to go vs prying/cutting. Moose has good instructions for installing grips, just follow exactly. The hardest thing is locating power source and ground connections. I followed my accessory plug back, opened up the protective sheath. Figured out which wire was the hot one tied in to these wires. You do not want to go to battery, you need ignition switched power.I removes several pieces of the body plastic to gain access and tie everything up neatly.
