Cabelas after hours party?

Im wondering if anyone has got one of these invites. I have never befor, but did this year and was wondering what its all about or what the deals are like any info would be appriciated.

I have gotten the invite. I think you basically get the employee discount, maybe another 10-20% off. But I am not sure. If you know somebody that works there, you can ask them.

I went last year. I encountered two issues. First, lots of people and waiting in line. Second, it's hard to find a price because not everything is discounted a fixed percent. you have to ask someone for the "employee" price for each item. I wouldn't just grab a bunch of stuff and think you get X% off.

I am planning on heading down Sunday for a new pair of danners. I have a friend who works at the Rogers store and he said it varies on the item as to what kind of discount they get, some where between 5 and 25 percent. I am hoping for 25 percent on the new danners

You get the bigger discounts on the Cabelas name brand products but as has been said the discounts on everything else vary. I went to the Owatonna one last year and after waiting in line an hour and a half, I just couldnt wait any longer and had to get going. I emailed Cableas after that and said what a poorly organized event it was with so many people and so few checkouts going. I was impressed, the manager emailed me soon after and said he was sorry and the store was simply overwhelmed and unprepared for the number of people. He even gave me the discount if I wanted to use it at a future date. I expect it will be better this year, but either way, expect some crowds and lines and I would be there right away with a list of what you want to get, no browsing.
