Sharpening Leech Lake Knives

Big Sky

Question

Tried emailing them off their HSOforum, but it came back undeliverable. Does anyone know if they still sharpen the knifes if you send them in? If not, is there another source out there that sharpens them like Don use to. Thansk.

I always just sharpen it myself but for the most part if I just hit it with a set of the mini croc sticks. I will give it 5 to 10 passes depending on how it feels. When the edge is right it just feels right and then it is good for a cleaning session. I know that they would resharpen them at the Greater Northwest Sport Show at the convention center in Minneapolis for free but that might just be a little to far of a road trip to get your knife sharpened winkgrin

Thanks guys. I've heard he'll sharpen them at the show, but I wasn't sure he still was doing it. Business gets me somewhat close to the cities so maybe a road trip would be worth it. I've heard good things about shows in Minnesota.

Buddha, please email me. I've had these knives for almost 10 years and they need some professional sharpening. Don't want to ruin them myself.
