I wire a marine 12 V accessory receiver up on all my Vexilar's now as standard equipment, just for that reason...and to also charge up cell phones in the stix.

Kinda hard to see in my avatar, but there is one on the top right corner of the Vexilar in the picture. I found that to be a good location as even with the soft pack on it can easily be accessed by the side zipper.

That looks sweet! Thanks Ed. I'll be getting the setup before first ice for sure. I see you also have dual rod holders on your propack - I love those things, comes in VERY handy when our hole hopping.

Doesn't look like you have the dual transducer, do you prefer the single beam ducers?
