st. croix state park hunt?

A buddy and I have considered applying for this hunt for many years and I think next year will be the year, anyone here ever done this hunt before???? Thanks in advance, we have some familiarity with the park and have some of our spots already picked out in our minds.....

No deer here you would be better to just hunt you normal areas

Never hunted the park but have hunted properties that border it for years no deer stay away

Our group got in this year, going up tomorrow. My son and I went to St. Croix 2 yrs. ago for the special youth hunt. He shot his 1st deer there, nice one too. Get this, you could camp in the park during the youth hunt and the people camping next to us couldn't believe the park was allowing youth to shoot deer. They gave the ranger a piece of their mind right by our camp site then they left.
