bobbymalone
Muskies on Harriet is hardly a secret, pics or not.

bronzeback
I guess if you're going to give up your lake and your strategy, this is the time of year to do it. I'm sure only a quarter of the pressure you'd get from a post like that mid-summer will happen in the fall.

Arcons
CFollow,Your season is over so you can tell everyone else what to do and ruin it for the rest of us fishing until the end? Class Act buddy. Revealing how a well known guide is putting fish in the boat on a tiny lake.....I don't have a motor and enjoy the fact that people won't fish the lake because they can't use their motor. I now look forward to playing bumper boats. What is it with people holding the fish right up to the camera? Ryan Connelly
tweedlap
Hey Bronze,I am one of the 1200 (several times) and I could care less about your "private lake". Talk about boring...who wants tosucker fish for muskies?tweed
scsavre
Next year i am doing a test. I am going to count boats on water and trucks at the access on a lake for lets say 2 weeks. I am then going to post some spectacular numbers and pics and say they are from that lake. I will count again for 2 weeks. Then we can see if people really care and target a lake from what all the [PoorWordUsage]'ers on here write.
Arcons
Still playing puck Savre? From your posts it looks like you've had a #@$@ of a year in the boat.I drive by Harriet on my way home from work every day and base my decision on where to fish (Calhoun or Harriet) by the number of boats. The pressure this year on Harriet was ridiculous and artificial bait fishing was terrible.
scsavre
Acron, I skate here and there, with a rink across the street from my house i better get out more this year. i think i will do that pond hockey tourny again. I had a great year for fish vs time on water and my average length was amazing. I hit Harriet once this year, saw a few fish. Nothing hit the net though. I do most of my fishing up north. bronzeback
haha, it's not MY private lake. I've never even looked at a map of Harriet, much less been on the water. I'm just saying a little discretion on CFollow's part would have been nice for some people. I'm not trying to encourage absolute secrecy on muskie lakes and specific techniques, this HSOforum was made for sharing that kind of thing. But he could have just said "put a few in the boat on suckers in the last few weeks." and left it at that.
mainbutter
I realize it's a little late in this thread to post about single hooks vs quick strike rigs, and I almost hate to bring it up, but does anyone use circle hooks while sucker fishing?I use circle hooks all the time when fishing live bait under bobbers for snook down in florida, I think the principle would be the exact same for muskies.
