Well I thought I would revive an older thread. This was one of my summer projects that I finished up so that I had a rod to use in emergencies when the fishing was slow. I wanted to make my own Green Hornet lucky rod. Just need to add the eyes and it will be complete. The rod is the tip section of a broken bamboo fly rod. I added some green tip up line to give it the nostalgic look.

Just waiting for the ice to come to see if it has the magic touch.

Stop Light Bait in St.Cloud sells them rods. (Without the reel) Pretty cool. I almost bought one just to hang up on the wall.
