I hate to say it but I'm getting 1998 deja vu. Feeling confident every week, every drive, every play. I'm holding back just because I don't want to have my heart broken again like it was in 98. That would be the Vikings loss to the dirty bird Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship game at the "Metrodoom" under the leadership of Denny (Where did I leave my Doublewhopper) Green. I think that was the year the Randy Moss was a rookie and Vikes set a NFL record for points scored in a season. That record has since been beaten and it's possible the Saints can beat it again this year.

That's unfortunate that you're not enjoying this run as best you can. This is a completely different team, under different leadership. I agree that there are places we can improve and all that, but join the fun man!

I was looking at SB history and the scores of the games. History doesn't bode well for the Vikings. If they lose this year they will break their own record for losses in Super Bowls. Their scoring in Super Bowls has been awful, some of the lowest scores of teams in the history of the big game. One game they did manage 14 points, so there is some hope, but let's not hold our breath.

Tell that to Cubs fans. The Vikings are the Cubs of the NFL. I love them to death. I'm a huge fan that watches them every week without fail, but you get kicked in the junk enough times you should see it coming. ie Charlie Brown kicking the football.

As far as different leadership goes I wouldn't put Chilly above Denny "UFL" Green.
