rattle reels in portables

I've got the same thing, a couple rattle reels mounted to strong spring clamps. When I use them I just clamp them to the poles in the portable, when not using them I just stash them with the rest of my gear. The spring clamps are strong enough that I have no concerns about them coming off the poles.

I mounted a L shaped aluminum flat stock to the rattle reel. I then drilled a hole in the bracket and it is attached to the side cross bar useing a positioning clamp with a wing nut. My portable is a 8x8 Canvas Craft Northlander. I would post a picture of it but I am pretty stupid so I have no way of knowing how to upload the picture to this post.

Here are two very handy and great rattle wheels for portables.

This is an Otter outdoors rattle wheel

Both work great, I have and use the rattle snake. Very good quality and much bigger than I thought it would be.
