FISHINGURU
Hey don't worry Rick, I'm sure there will be plenty of debates to be had with this team, heck Webb might create some of his own this very weekend lol.
FISHINGURU
Don't let the term "turf toe" make you think it's not a credible injury...it's one of the most painful injuries an athlete can get. Oh I hear ya, I just find it funny we are in dying need of a QB and we don't even wait to see if it gets better or anything we just put him on IR for the season a day or two after the injury. It's not even a lets wait and see how this turns out just in case we need him or anything. It's more like sweet Junkson is hurt lets just put him on IR because he's a piestain anyway. He's been injured for 5 years even with limited playing time, I'd hate to have to think about that guy being your franchise QB.Whats the odds of us signing this guy for a long term contract next season? Nick Kuhn
And welcome the Joe Webb experiment The difference is Joe Webb is a 6th round pick. I think there were 7 different pro bowl players drafted later than we picked up T-Jack that year. I doubt there will be any pro-bowlers that were still available when we picked up Webb. Born2Fish
It is kinda funny that Favre has like 4 different injuries and they still won't put him on the IR. I think that says a LOT about how the Vikings feel about T Jack.
james_walleye
1. James Harrison2. Lamar Woodley3. John Abraham4. Terrel Suggs5. Israel Idonije 6. Julius Peppers7. Demarcus Ware8. Clay Matthews9. Mario Williams10. Dwight Freeny11. Robert Mathis12. Tamba Hali13. Cameron Wake 14. Justin Tuck15. Osi Umenyiora16. Trent Cole 17. Chris Clemons18. Jason Babin 19. Brian Orakpo I will take any of these guys over Allen. Here are Allen's stats from the first seven games.... you know.... when it mattered... before we were already knocked out of the playoffs.1 Sack = .14 per game16 solo tackles = 2.28 per game1 gift INT from Aaron Rodgers0 Forced fumbles And almost NEVER double-teamed.You cant win in this league on nostalgia. He hasnt done anything this year and has no right to complain how anyone else is playing. And last time I checked the DE has outside contain on a running play. He let worthless Bear Pasco eat him alive. Allen was responsible for that. Plain and simple. I hate to break it to you but there are very few players on this team who have shown up this year. So if you want to axe Allen for having a down year then you better get a long sheet of paper ready and start listing the other 98% of this team that you want gone as well for not showing up. This WHOLE team has had a hangover since the saints game last year.
Stcloudangler
Yep, other than Greenway and Peterson, I can't think of a single player that deserves getting one Pro bowl vote this year.
FISHINGURU
EJ could get my vote for Defensive comeback player of the year. When I seen what happened to him at the game I thought it was gonna be a career ender. He came back quicker then anyone could of imagined and has played pretty decent considering.
