Calling with gloves on?

Does anyone wear gloves when calling ducks or geese? I don't like the muffled sound it makes when i do it so i never wear gloves when hunting. Just wondering?

You can buy/make calling gloves. Basically you cut everything off the inside/palm of the gloves and just leave the fingertips and the back of the gloves. This actually does keep your hands warmer suprisingly and allows you to call with very minimal muffling....that being said I don't wear gloves when calling.

NO I dont use gloves I use the hand warmer deals quaterbacks use. they work great for keeping my hands free and warm.

I wear thin gloves, especially on my right hand so I can call as well as shoot the gun properly. A hand muff strapped around my waist helps a lot once it gets really cold.

Gloves work for me, just open your hand more. Do you really think a duck can tell at 150 yds. if your glove is muffling it. Ducks hear low pitches best and be loud enough and you'll kill em.

I wear gloves all the time. The dead ducks didn't seem bothered by them.
