Science Project

For my science project I have to go out and take pics of habitats. For example, pond, slough, CPR, lake. I need a few more.. Any suggestions?? Thank you tons

What have you got and what do you still need? Should we assume from your avatar that you're limited to the area around Moorhead? Check with the DNR for the closest tract of undisturbed prairie, as that habitat was not on the list you mentioned. Also, with the Red River in your back yard you can easily get a riparian habitat. If you head up toward Karlstad you also can get captures of oak/aspen savanna. The Fertile Sand Dunes are also within reach, as they are near Fertile, Minn.

You will get all you need by just visiting Buffalo River State Park, just a short 10 or 12 mile drive. I believe MSU has a science center out there as well with habitat. (I grew up in Moorhead)

I agree with what has already been stated. I would also suggest perhaps Maplewood State Park near Pelican Rapids. 40 minute drive from Mhd.

Flood plain, that should be easy to find in your part of the world.
