Dag_1979
We returned from our annual Wyoming hunting trip on Sunday. Hunted hard for three days, and managed to harvest 10 antelope, and 2 mule deer. We only saw 2 mule deer bucks the entire hunt. Both bucks are 4x3's. I shot the first one at 15 yds after putting the sneak on him in high winds. My buddy Matt shot his first mule deer on the front doorstep of the abandoned ranch house seen in the background of the pic. He shot that deer at 40 yds. The tall goat in the pic was shot by my cousin Andy. It scored 6" short of B&C, but is still a very respectable goat. The wide, goofy looking goat was shot by my buddy Lance. We have never seen a goat quite like that. All in all it was a good hunt. Antelope numbers were low where we hunted in NE Wyoming. The last pic is our hunting party for 2009. Scoot
The wide, goofy looking goat was shot by my buddy Lance. We have never seen a goat quite like that. That's funny- my buddy and I chased a goat just like that one year. We called him "Splay". We got close several times, but we couldn't get in a spot where we could get quite close enough with our bows.
